This weekend I am in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with Chris, his parents, and his little sister Ria. I can hardly believe I am saying this, but I am actually graduating from college this weekend.
We visited the Regent University campus this afternoon to pick up my regalia, and I can’t tell you how much it meant to me to actually be on campus. For the last three years, I have participated in classes with incredible people from all over the world and worked with incredible professors. I really can’t wait to meet them this evening at the commissioning service.
Finishing my college degree has been an on-going goal since I married Chris, but with all of the challenges and twists and turns in our journey, it just didn’t seem possible. Online classes with Regent made it possible, though, and I have had an incredible experience with the school. If you face similar challenges, I definitely recommend that you check it out. The website is www.regent.edu.
Be back soon with video from the weekend, as well as an update on flood relief efforts in Nashville!

Congratulations on graduating! As someone who never graduated from college (even though I have racked up plenty of units), I am inspired by what you did. I may even check out the link……….It’s been awhile since I was on your blog and saw your last post. Happy I found you here!

Thanks, Dianne! Glad you found me here. 🙂 My mom graduated from college last December, which was huge inspiration for me to push through and finish, too. Good luck!
