Last week while Chris was out of town, I picked up The Wednesday Sisters by Meg Waite Clayton on sale at Target. (Quick aside — I love that Target still has a decent book section. Just one more reason I prefer it over the big box store options.)
The Wednesday Sisters is such a sweet book, and one that I do want to share with my close women friends. I had a rough week while Chris was gone, and this book became my refuge for those few days. It’s the story of women as real as you or me, going through the very real changes and challenges that life brings, but with the kind of warmth, clarity, and authenticity I hope to have. And it has a beautiful, satisfyingly happy ending — not the sappy, cheesy kind, but the kind that warms you to your toes.
I’d love to pass my copy along to you. It’s very gently used, I promise. Post a comment below about a book you’ve read lately, and I’ll pick one person at random on Saturday. After you’ve read it, I hope you’ll pass it along to a friend who will enjoy reading it, too.

Waldemar,
If you’re familiar with WordPress, you just use the same image link for the media library that you’ve always used. No changes there. The theme will pick up the first image in a post as your thumbnail for related posts later.

That book has gotten a lot of great reviews! I haven’t read it yet, though. What did you like best about it?

Hi, Dee ! I saw your comment on the Kreative Themes site about the thumbnails on the related entries section.
Here’s the thing I’ve done to correct it : open brightsky.php and look at the line number 121. You’ll find this :
$return = ”;
You just have to correct the path to the image you want to appear, adding the http://www… etc.
If you want more details, just ask me, right ?

Thanks for your help and for stopping by! I was just missing the “http://…” part of the code. Sometimes it’s the smallest things. 🙂

ooh, ooh – that looks great!!
I just finished reading “One Year Off” – it’s a compilation of well-written letters/emails from a family who sold everything and traveled the world for one year. SO very interesting!!

Wow, I can’t imagine how hard it would be — but also how freeing to sell everything and take a year off. That sounds amazing.
