I don’t know about you, but since Tax Day passed, my head has been buzzing with ideas and motivation to get my house organized, starting with my little studio/craft space/playroom – AKA, Perch Central, as Chris likes to call it. Here are a few of the links I’ve favorited, saved in Evernote, or posted to Pinterest. So many creative mamas with great ideas out there! I hope you find one that inspires you, too.
I have a stack of boxes on the floor next to the craft table Chris built for me. The boxes contain mostly gift wrap, gift bags, tissue paper, and ribbon, plus a few odds and ends. I desperately need to get these items off the floor and somewhere… else. I love this idea for back-of-door storage from Brooklyn Limestone.
The Decorating Files website has some great inspiration for organizing gift wrap, too. My favorite is the converted vintage trunk clipped from Real Simple.
I’m working on Mackenzie’s “chore” chart. I love this DIY version from A Spotted Pony. I already bought a basic magnetic board for Mackenzie’s, but I really love the painted cookie sheet in this one. So cute!
This sewing room makeover from Sew May Ways really inspired me. She is so creative! I love that she remodeled her sewing room on a budget and managed to create something really lovely by reusing and repurposing other items. Room makeovers don’t have to be budget busters.
Not to be missed… this DIY tutorial for file crates made from pallets, and these drawer organizers made from cereal boxes shared by I Heart Organizing.
Have a lovely weekend, friends! I’m off to organize Perch Central. What are you working on this weekend?
