Lulu Ladybug is a sweet little book by Sam Walshaw that I picked up for Mackenzie earlier this summer.
We spent a lot of time in the garden and at you-pick farms and the farmer’s markets this summer, and it seemed fitting. I was looking for something that would tie those themes together and still meet her at her level.
Nevermind the typo in the author’s name on the front cover.
This one is cute and sweet, and we’ve enjoyed reading it. Do you have any favorite books about gardening that tie in a great story for kids? (When this one by my favorite garden blogger is available again, I’m buying it. 🙂 )
