Overexposure and Share the Love II

I finally caved and opened a pack of my Share the Love film yesterday. I went with Chris on a senior portrait photo shoot at Hendrix and thought, “Well, just in case…”

Unfortunately, in my role as tag along, I did not really have the time to focus on my lighting, which resulted in four very dark shots. The sun had just set, so I didn’t have much light to work with. I tried bumping up the exposure and turning off the flash – bad idea. But the flash made one picture come out way over-exposed. I was trying to get a closeup of a giant grasshopper in their “native plants” garden, and it just didn’t happen. All you can see is a white, grass-hopper shaped silhouette.
