Chris wanted to take me to a new-to-us coffee shop on Saturday, so we mapped our way to an out of the way spot in north Nashville. We turned a corner and found ourselves at Marathon Motor Works. The old automobile factory is home to a small community of indie boutiques, galleries, recording studios, office spaces, and even a music venue — collectively known as Marathon Village.
The coffee at the coffeeshop was fine, but we were far more delighted with the old building itself. The sky was cloudy outside, and the old warehouse windows let in beautiful light. I couldn’t resist getting some photos with my trusty iPhone.
Hope you enjoy. π
