Hello, friends!

It’s been a long week, but it’s ending on a happy note — big win at work + progress on my home/studio organizing projects + long weekend + family in town for the holiday means it’s time to celebrate! It’s Memorial Day weekend, which is normally a big project weekend for us (and it may still be — we’ll see), but this year, we’re celebrating a belated Mother’s Day and birthday with my mother-in-law Linda. Let’s get this party started!

Here are a few things I thought I’d share with you.

I love this train board at Young House Love. It’s so cute, and I like that it can be stored under the couch or bed. I can’t decide if Mackenzie would like it, though. I think so — but she has so much fun putting the tracks together like a puzzle, too. What do you think?

I can’t wait to make these strawberry pop-tarts. Yum!

Jen at I Heart Organizing is always talking about her Silhouette, and after checking out the Silhouette blog, I can’t help but want one, too. So many wonderful things you could make!

A big focus of my organization project has been our kitchen. One simple thing we decided to do with ban clutter from the top of the microwave and instead set up a charging station. We almost bought this one and then decided to DIY one instead. Pinterest has lots of great ideas for DIY charging stations. I bought a mail sorter at TJ Maxx last night that we are DIY-ing — it’s in progress, but I think that when it’s finished, it will be awesome. 🙂

I hope you have a lovely long weekend! What are your plans for celebrating?
