It’s been a long week, and a blog post is definitely in order. We moved (with Chris’s family’s help) on Saturday, and I’ve been unpacking the new place and cleaning out the old one all week. Chris left on Sunday after church to do some work in Arkansas, and just arrived back home last night a little after midnight. It’s so good to have him home.
I can’t believe I still haven’t posted pictures of my family’s trip to Nashville to spend the Fourth of July with us. We had so much fun with them, and it meant so much to me to have them here. Pictures are coming. Soon.
I also owe you pictures of the new house. It’s actually an old house, but we like the way it has been remodeled, and the neighborhood is good. It will be great for the next year or so, until we decide if and where we want to buy again. There are still boxes everywhere, though, we haven’t painted yet, and a million other little things, so while I’m tackling that list, I thought I’d share a fun post from someone else with you today.
Yesterday, author Don Miller let his dog take over his blog while Don works on a new project. The post made me laugh out loud, which is really rare. I really enjoyed it, and I hope you do, too. Guess which dog this reminds me of? 🙂

I wonder what would happen if I let Annie and Sydney take over my site for a few days? Give me a break from writing and all that? It’s fun to think about…
